We are the International Krav Maga Federation, a Krav Maga industry body and non profit organisation founded in 1996 in Israel by Avi Moyal, Eyal Yanilov, Gabi Noah, Eli Ben-Ami and others with the blessing of Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld. As a leading organisation we have spread Krav Maga to every continent on the globe for the past 15 years.
We the IKMF are a strong force amongst few spreading genuine and authentic Krav Maga that comes from the very source.
Our mission is simple: "So that one may walk in peace" - Founder of Krav Maga, Imi Lichtenfeld.
We need help in spreading this very message! But being a Krav Maga Instructor is not an easy job! It requires time, dedication, talent and passion.
We are looking for Krav Maga Practitioners around Australia who would like to join our organisation to become qualified Junior Civilian Krav Maga Instructors.
If you think you have what it takes to be a Krav Maga Instructor, then we urge you to apply now.
To enter our Junior Civilian Instructor program, one must:
- Have a background in martial arts minimum 5 years+ with good punching and kicking abilities.
- Be in very good physical condition/fitness.
- Have a recommendation and certifications from one of the following people - a IKMF teacher / MA instructor / police officer/ Etc.
- Do an Instructor preparation course to qualify. Money is refunded to those who do not qualify.
Candidates must be approved by the local IKMF director.
You must also have:
- No Criminal record
- An interview
- The ability to pay the course
Teaching background is an advantage!
If you are not a current Krav Maga Practitioner without a recommendation then it is essential that you partake in the Instructor Preparation Course. This course is run over 3 to 5 day with up to 6 hours of training done per day. This training serves three fundamental purposes. They are:
- To give you an understanding of Krav Maga and its principles.
- To ensure you posses the skills and characteristics that are required to be a Krav Maga instructor.
- To give you a good understanding of Krav Maga basics.
If you are not successful in this process then you will be refunded the full amount for the Preparation course. If you are interested in pursuing this further, please contact me ASAP.
