In 1980 Guy Dar starting training with the Israeli Krav Maga and Israeli Krav Magen Schools of Martial Arts. Guy Dar is consider by some as one of the highest ranking students of the late master, Mr. Eli Avikzar.  Mr. Avikzar was the first black belt ever in Krav Maga and the top student of Mr. Imi Lichtenfeld, the founder of Krav Maga. Guy Dar was personally trained by Mr. Avikzar during the last 15 years of his life. Mr. Dar has devoted his life to teaching many different varieties of people how to defend themselves against all forms of violence.
