He believes that Krav Maga should be accessible to anyone who wants to learn how to defend themselves. Currently he is teaching Krav Maga to people aged 10 to 60 years old. David is proud to be one of the first members of John Whitman’s Krav Maga Alliance in Australia and is currently the coordinator for the Alliance in the Australasian region. He is also a member of the MMA Peak Industry Body. David has been certified under two systems of Krav Maga to teach Civilians and is one of the few individuals in Australia qualified to teach children. He has run successful programs in a number of schools in the Brisbane area. Krav Maga Queensland has a number of highly qualified instructors all with Blue Cards and First Aid Certification. Seminars Krav Maga Queensland is please to announce an Introduction to Krav Maga Knife Defences in Toowoomba on the 8th June 2013, 10am to 12pm at the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre, University of Southern Queensland, Baker Street, Toowoomba. This seminar is an excellent introduction to the Krav Maga system and how it deals with Knife Attacks. We will teach you basic defences against Knife Attacks from all angles. The run will be run by David Murray, Krav Maga Queensland Lead Instructor and the Krav Maga Allliance's Coordinator for Australasia. The cost of the course will be $50 early bird rate and $60 on the day. I have trained full-time in Israel, and of all the clubs I have train at in Australia, Dave's club is the closest to the real deal I have found.
Of all the Krav Maga clubs in Queensland, these guys are my #1 choice and who I recommend to anyone interested in learning Krav, because the instructors actually care about their students safety not their profit line. |
